This doument outlines the various Wang LogiBlocs (Wang's trade name for their modular circuit board logic modules) that make up each of the Wang 200 and 300-series calculator electronics packages. The listing contains the LogiBloc identification number (always found in a couple of locations etched on the circuit board), the general function of the board, and columns indicating if the board is used within the various model calculators in the line. An "X" indicates that one of the boards is used in the model. A "-" indicates that the board is not used in the model. A digit indicates how many of the board are used in the model.
The 300E, 310E, and 320E electronics packages are all identical electronically. The only difference is the model number, and the default keyboard/display unit sold to make a calculator system. The keyboard sold with the electronics package determines the model number of the electronics package. This was a marketing ploy to allow a single version of the electronics package to be sold along with three different keyboard units (300K, 310K, or 320K) at different prices, with the only manufacturing price differential being the price of the additional switches, keycaps, and keyboard bezel of the keyboard/display unit.
The 210SE and 250SE calculators essentially duplicates of the 320SE and 360SE respectively, with backplane modifications to allow an additional 1/2-sized LogiBloc (2224) that provides an automatic currency round-off feature, making these machines more suitable for financial applications.
