Wang Labs Delivers First 3300 Minicomputer Timesharing System
Lowell Sun, April 16, 1971
An article mentioning the deployment of the first Wang Laboratories 3300 Timeshared BASIC Minicomputer System to Weymouth South High School in South Weymouth,
Massachusetts. The four user system was shipped to the High School near
the end of March, 1971, and was installed and running shortly thereafter. The
system quickly became a very popular part of the
school's mathematics curriculum, with eager students waiting for time behind
the terminals connected to the system to try out their BASIC programs.
