News Archive - Compucorp Intends to Acquire Monroe

Announcement of Compucorp's intent
to purchase an 80% ownership of the Monroe (Calculating Machine) division
of Litton, Industries' Business Systems subsidiary, with eventual intent to own
100% of the organization.
This acquisition was abandoned by Compucorp
in January of 1984, after it became clear that Compucorp was not in
an appropriate financial condition to be able to facilitate the transaction.
