Olympia RAE 4/30-2 Desktop Calculator




First generation electronic calculator from Olympia Büromaschinen Werke AG in West Germany. Mid-range machine in the transistorized RAE 4/30 series. The machine has a capacity of fifteen digits, with automatic floating decimal point. It has two accumulator-style memory registers, and provides the four basic math operations. The calculator is built with discrete transistor technology, using a small magnetic core memory array for storing its working registers, The display uses Nixie tubes, and the status indicators on the front panel are li by Incandescent lamps to provide memory status and sign indication.
