Wang 452 Self Teaching Operator's Manual, 1973
This is a so-called Self-Teaching Reference Manual for the Wang Model 452
Advanced Scientist electronic calculator. It provides a step-by-step lesson-
oriented guide to familiarizing the user with the calculator and all of
its functions, including programming the calculator.
Published in 1973, this was a rather unique method for explaining the
operation of an advanced electronic calculator, as most manuals were simply
a reference guide, with perhaps a few example math problems shown for clarity.
Along with being a self-teaching guide, the manual has an extensive index
that does allow it to be used in the more conventional reference manual
way.
Sincere thanks to Mr. Bruce Lustig, former Wang Laboratories salesperson,
for providing the scan of this document to the Old Calculator Museum.
